I captured the idea for this painting  while on a photo trip in South Dakota
visiting  with  the different tribes of  Plains Indians.  This Sioux baby was
excited  and fascinated with everything  happening around  her  while her
Mother's love was very evident.

STORM COMING
Original Oil on Canvas SOLD to Private Collector, Las
Vegas Nevada

The  Great North  American Plains  is a  flatland  with cold winters and  hot
summers.   It covers  three-quarters  of a  million square miles.  The  Plains
Indians in "Storm Coming" are caught  in a winter whiteout of snow.  Their
survival, in  the  winter, is their warm tipis of buffalo hides and  fires made
of dried buffalo chips, timber and prairie grass.

Available in Limited Edition Giclee Print on Canvas and Fine Art Paper
Various sizes available within the Edition

 STORY OF THE EAGLE
Original Oil on Canvas SOLD to Private Collector, Las Vegas, Nevada

A Sioux mother sits quietly with  her daughter, on a rock, in the Cheyenne River
Breaks,  South  Dakota.   The golden  eagle soars majestically above them as the
mother begins to tell her daughter the story of the eagle...a story of life, strength
and courage that is handed down from generation to generation.

STORYTIME

Original Oil on Canvas SOLD to a Private Collector in Scottsdale, Arizona

On a  peaceful afternoon, I find  a Ute  mother  telling  her  children  a  story.
Through  her  stories  the  traditions  and  rich  legacies  of  her  ancestors are
carried to the next generation.   The  Ute  people  are said  to be an important
division of  the Shoshone, closely related to the Paiute and  Bannock Indians.
History tells  us they were strong, owned horses and were a bellacose people.

Available in limited Edition Giclee Print on Canvas and Fine Art Paper
Various sizes available within the Edition.
