California Cowgirl is a painting of Autumn, my granddaughter. She lives in California and is an avid horse lover. When she and her mom came to visit me here in Nevada, the first thing she asked to do was to go riding. I took her to a small ranch in the foothills of the Charleston Mountain Range. It was on this trip that I obtained the reference material for this painting. —Barbara Sullivan
