The reference photo, for this painting of my friend Michael
Harlan, was taken as he was leaving my studio on a cold
February morning in 2006. As my favorite model, he has
provided some great reference material as well as mused me
about his insight into what bikers like. This painting is
bigger than life and I've been told by my artist friends
and collectors and I quote, "the painting is so
powerful it is almost overwhelming!".
